After a breezy and cool Monday, Tuesday looks to hold much of the same! A cut-off low (low pressure system that breaks off from the jet stream) will continue to spin across the Great Lakes, which will allow for the cool N/NW breeze to continue. Because the low will be to our north (moving south from Canada), it won’t have much moisutre to work with. While I wouldn’t rule out a couple isolated showers, most areas will remain dry for Tuesday. Highs will top out in the middle 70s, so it will definately feel a bit chillier than what we have been feeling as of late! Looking ahead to the weekend, it appears that a cold front will be passing through on Saturday afternoon/evening, which will unfortunately allow for the development of scattered showers and thunderstorms around the area (mainly before the fireworks, though a slight adjustment in frontal passage speed would change that). I’ll be watching that very carefully over the next several days! Enjoy the cool weather!
