What seems like an endless active weather pattern continues for Wednesday. A weak disturbance will be passing across the area during the daytime, which will allow for the development of widespread showers (and isolated t-storms) across the tri-state. Given the rich flow of moisture from the Gulf of Mexico, these showers/t-storms will have a lot of juice to ring out, thus resulting in pockets of heavy rain. Because of the rain/clouds, temperatures will be held down in the middle to upper 70s area-wide, which is well below normal for this time of year…but what’s new? This July will go down as the COOLEST ON RECORD (with ease I might add)! Throughout the month, we have accumulated an insanely negative departure of both high and low temperatures from day to day! This cool pattern is not local. In fact, much of the Eastern USA (east of the Mississippi River) has basically seen Spring/Fall-like conditions for much of the SUMMER, which is definately leaving Global Warming/Artificial Global Warming theorists scratching their heads. Well, I have digressed, but look forward to making a post soley dedicated to our climate/climate changes in the near future! Enjoy your Wednesday and stay safe out there! =)
