Occassional showers are in the forecast for Monday as an area of low pressure begins to washout overhead (transfer of energy to coastal low). The remaining moisture and lift should be sufficient for the development of showers across much of the tri-state, though they will not be too heavy or last all day (breaks). Given all the clouds and showers, temps will struggle to make it into the middle 60s. The shower threat will begin to wane Monday night as temps bottom out around 50.
